Celebration of New Ministry:
The Rev. Cathering Amy Kropp, Vicar, Christ Memorial, Kilauea

Christ Memorial Episcopal Church in Kilauea officially welcomed their Vicar with a Celebration of New Ministry service on Saturday, May 11, 2024. The Rev. Catherine Amy Kropp has been with Christ Memorial since November 1, 2023. A reception was held before the early evening service. Bishop Robert Fitzpatrick was the Celebrant, and along with the presentation of gifts and renewal of Baptismal vows, folks were treated to a lovely cello performance by Kropp.

The Rev. David Jackson, Rector, All Saints', Kapa'a

The Rev. David Jackson, was officially installed as the Rector of All Saints' Episcopal Church in Kapa'a, on Saturday, April 29, 2023. Kahu Kawika, who had been serving as the Priest-in-Charge for the past three years, arrived just as COVID restrictions were put in effect in April of 2020. Following the service, a folks enjoyed a reception provided by members. ​

The Rev. Charles Browning, Rector, St. Mary's, Honolulu

On Saturday, April 22, 2023, the Rev. Charles Browning (left) was installed as the Rector at St. Mary's Episcopal Church in Mōʻiliʻili.  Father Browning had been serving as St. Mary's Priest-in-Charge for the past three years, arriving just when COVID restrictions were put into effect. Renewal of Ministry and Welcoming of a New Vicar: The Rev. Bruce DeGooyer, Holy Innocents, Lāhainā

​Holy Innocents in Lāhainā, Maui, held a "Renewal of Ministry and Welcoming of a New Vicar Service" for the installation of the Rev. Bruce DeGooyer on March 27. The steering paddle presented symbolizes staying on course while navigating the open water. The paddle was made by Bishop's Warden Diane Delos Rios and her husband, both of whom are paddlers. The paddle was presented by Diane Delos Rios (light green dress and was an acolyte, EM). Bishop Bob and Bea were in attendance and Holy Innocents hosted an outdoor reception in the church yard overlooking the ocean.
