PENTECOST 2024:  ​A Weekend of Celebration at The Cathedral

​​[May 23, 2024, Chronicle]  The Cathedral of St. Andrew was on fire with the Holy Spirit this past weekend that began on Saturday, May 18, 2024, with a Vigil of Pentecost.  Bishop Robert Fitzpatrick led the special service that involved eight different churches from around the Diocese (including Holy Apostles on Hawai'i Island).  A total of fourteen people were either Baptized, Confirmed, Received, or Reaffirmed. They are:

ALI'I SUNDAY: Commemorating Queen Lili'uokalani & Plaque Dedication

On Sunday, May 19, the Royal Societies attended the Ali'i Sunday service at The Cathedral of St. Andrew, commemorating Queen Lili'uokalani.  A plaque for the Peace Chapel, which was named after her, was also dedicated.
