Farewell to Music Director Todd BeckhamThe Evensong on September 29 for Michaelmas, honoring St. Cecilia, was also the occasion for saying Farewell to Music Director Todd Beckham, who is leaving to become Director of Music at Christ Church Cathedral of the Diocese of Western Massachusetts. Todd’s wife Jennifer was also honored, although she had already left for Massachusetts.
Following the service, at which Fr. Moki Hino expressed his profound gratitude for Todd’s three years of service with us, there was a reception. Here are some photos of the service and reception, with thanks to Ann Hansen and Elizabeth Conklin. To view more photos, visit The Cathedral website HERE. |

Cathedral Bell Ringers in BostonIn August, six Honolulu ringers from St Andrew’s Ringing Society, affectionately known as StARS, attended the 2019 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the North American Guild of Change Ringers in Boston, MA. When I found black and white composition books for 48 cents each at Fisher Hawaii, I bought a whole stack. I put them into the plastic bins at the back of the church to hopefully “seed” more donations. READ MORE
