2026 Annual Clergy Retreat Camp Mokulēʻia: Body, Mind & Spirit
[February 12, 2026] The Diocese's annual Clergy Retreat took place at Camp Mokulē'ia, January 26-28, 2026, with "Body, Mind & Spirit" as the theme. Although the main guest speaker couldn't make it due to flight delays, participants still enjoyed sessions involving Centering Prayer, Tai Chi, meditation practices, and walking the labyrinth. Of course the Camp itself offered more than enough activities for clergy to rejuvenate and enjoy!
Highlights of the clergy retreat included our time doing Tai Chi together and our discussion of current events on Tuesday afternoon. I took so much hope from knowing I am not alone in grappling with what is happening in our country, and I am certainly not alone in trying to figure out our response to it as people of faith. I especially appreciated the encouragement to speak the truth about what we see happening, and the potential for further organized action together. ~ The Rev. Jazzy Bostock
It was a restorative retreat with meaningful discussion! ~ The Rev. Jennifer Masada
I love any opportunity to gather with my clergy colleagues, and Camp Mokulē'ia is such a beautiful spot to do that. This year's retreat focused on refreshing spiritual practices, and included vital discussions of issues the Church must address in word and action. I am ready for a meaningful Lent. ~ The Rev. Peter Wallace
I look forward to the Clergy Retreat at Camp Mokulē'ia every January. This was a special one because it was the last one with Bishop Bob. We had time to chat with him as well as have fellowship with all the clergy. See you next year! ~ The Rev. Keleawe Hee
Mahalo to the Rev. Canon Sandy, the Rev. Keleawe Hee, and the Rev. Peter Wallace for the great photos!
